Modern style 5 rooms, 250 m², for 4 people House

Lacquered fronts and veneered furniture in a muted tone are complemented by a blue sofa and stunning views from the windows. Additionally, there’s a cosy and bright bedroom.

A House with a view of the mountains

In this project, the priority was designing a shared space that combines the kitchen, dining area, and living room. We then moved on to the design of the bedroom, which is connected to a bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The interiors were intended to be modern and cohesive, which was achieved through a muted colour palette and the use of high-quality materials.

Modern Style

Modern style is characterised by simplicity, functionality, and elegance. In the kitchen design, smooth surfaces dominate, such as lacquered cabinet fronts and countertops made of stone or quartz. Veneered fronts in oak or walnut are often used as accents. Built-in appliances and minimalist handles create a cohesive, aesthetic whole.

In the dining area, modernity is expressed through simple, geometric furniture shapes. A table with a smooth wooden or glass top, paired with chairs featuring clean lines, often in colour schemes drawn from the kitchen or living room, adds a sense of lightness to the space. A modern living room is all about open spaces, light colours, and functional furniture. Accessories like contemporary lamps, curtains with hidden curtain rods, and a unified flooring scheme further enhance the airy feel of the interior.
Above the dining table, we suggested an eye-catching chandelier, which further enriched the interior.

The kitchen features a central island, with concealed doors to the pantry on the left side. The view of the kitchen showcases the tall cabinetry, enhancing both storage and design.

Dining room

More and more, we tend to overlook display cabinets or glass cupboards when furnishing interiors. However, even a small piece of furniture can be very useful in the dining area to store special occasion dishes. In this project, we proposed a small shelving unit right next to the fridge cabinet to store additional items useful for both family gatherings and more casual occasions.

When planning the dining area, it's also important to consider lighting. It should be hung between 70 to 100 cm above the table and have a warm light temperature, making meal times more enjoyable and atmospheric.
A extendable table that, in its standard form, can seat 6 to 8 chairs.

Living room

The focal point of the living room is the sofa, with the TV wall and fireplace on the opposite side. We suggested a glass cabinet with LED lighting by the television to introduce additional decorative lighting in the room. Behind the TV, we incorporated architectural concrete, and a retractable projector screen is hidden in the ceiling, providing a seamless entertainment experience.
A bright and cosy bedroom, featuring decorative slats that define the boundary of the bed. Additionally, we suggested wallpaper with subtle patterns between the slats for a refined touch.
An extra decorative element in the bedroom are the fluted doors leading to the walk-in wardrobe.
