Scandinavian style Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom Building from the prefabricated concrete

This 63-square-metre apartment has been designed in a Scandinavian style, combining simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics. Every element of the interior is carefully considered, creating a space filled with harmony and tranquillity.

Living room combined with kitchen

The living room in this project is characterised by bright colours, minimalist furniture, and natural materials. This allows more light into the space, enhancing the room’s spaciousness. Subtle-toned accessories add a sense of cosiness to the interior.
The kitchen blends modern design with functionality. The white upper cabinet fronts, paired with wooden lower cabinets, create an elegant contrast. Although the kitchen is not large, thoughtful solutions make the space both comfortable and practical.

About scandinavian style

Scandinavian style is characterised by minimalism, simplicity, and functionality. It features predominantly light colours, such as white, grey, and beige, which visually expand the space and add a sense of lightness. Natural materials, especially wood, are omnipresent, bringing warmth and cosiness to the interior. The furniture is often minimalist yet practical, with a focus on ergonomics. Scandinavian interiors are also well-lit, both with natural light through large windows and soft, eye-friendly artificial lighting. Accessories are kept subtle, and decorations are limited to the essentials.
When combining the living room with the kitchen and dining area, the most important aspect is maintaining adequate spacing between the furniture.
If you cannot use real wooden flooring in the interior, opt for panels with the most natural-looking pattern possible.

Adapting scandinavian style features

To adapt Scandinavian style to your apartment, start by introducing light colours like white, grey, and beige, which brighten the space and make it appear larger. Natural materials, especially wood, will add warmth and cosiness. Minimalist yet functional furniture will ensure ergonomics and comfort.

Good lighting is also key—both natural and artificial—to highlight the simplicity and elegance of the interior. Accessories and decorations should be subtle and kept to a minimum to maintain harmony and calm within the space.
The living room is anchored by a decorative wall made from wooden slats, adding texture and warmth to the space.

Project summary

The design of this 63-square-metre apartment in Scandinavian style involved several key stages: selecting the right materials, creating a functional room layout, and choosing minimalist yet stylish furniture. Every element of the interior was carefully planned to create a harmonious and comfortable living space.
Furniture
Wooden, simple furniture pieces like the bed, bedside tables, sofa, table, and chairs will add warmth to the interior. If solid wood furniture is not an option, look for pieces with a natural texture and warm tones.
Textiles
Linen curtains, cotton bedding, and woollen blankets will bring extra comfort. Additionally, linen allows sunlight to filter through gently, creating a soft, natural light in the room.
Good Lighting
Both general and accent lighting will create a pleasant atmosphere. Subtle decorations, such as potted plants or understated artwork, will complete the space, making it a harmonious and cosy retreat for relaxation.
The bedroom is a place of relaxation, so we incorporated wood for decoration and used light colours to create a calming atmosphere.
The bathroom is designed in light colours with wooden elements and white ceramics.
The simple yet elegant design creates a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
