A stone bench instead of a windowsill, a spacious kitchen with a stone island, and light wooden flooring—these are just a few features of this project.
One of the biggest challenges in this design was creating an oval island clad in stone. However, by dividing the stone into smaller sections, we managed to achieve a smooth, uniform structure.

What to use instead of a windowsill? In Japandi style, stone or wooden tables work perfectly for holding plants, adding both functionality and natural charm to the space.
The dining table was crafted using a traditional wood-burning technique, giving it a distinctive black hue. This method not only enhances the table's unique appearance but also adds durability and character.
We proposed clay plaster for the walls throughout the house. This natural material adds texture and warmth to the interior, while also improving air quality and regulating humidity, making it a perfect choice for a harmonious and healthy living environment.
The section of the bathroom designated for the bathtub also allows for shower use.
In this project, we limited the use of tiles to a minimum, applying them only in select areas.
The bathtub, though black, is made of glass, allowing sunlight to pass through beautifully, adding a light and airy feel to the space.
About japandi style
Japandi style combines Japanese simplicity with Scandinavian functionality, creating harmonious and elegant interiors. It is characterised by minimalism, natural materials, and a muted colour palette. When designing a home in the Japandi style, it's important to choose furniture with clean lines, made from wood, bamboo, or rattan. Natural light plays a key role in highlighting the spaciousness and tranquillity of the interior. Accessories should be subtle and functional, such as ceramics, potted plants, or textiles made from natural fabrics. Japandi style promotes spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, making them ideal for everyday living.
