Project description
This flat in a tenement house has been designed to preserve its classic charm while introducing all modern conveniences. The interior combines elegance with contemporary comfort, creating a harmonious space full of timeless appeal. Upon entering the flat, you are immediately greeted by stunning mouldings adorning the walls, which pay homage to the original architecture of the building. The colour scheme is maintained in soft shades of beige and grey, adding warmth and sophistication to the rooms. This blend of classic and modern elements makes the space not only beautiful but also functional—perfect for those who appreciate elegance and comfort in a classic setting.

It's the details that play a crucial role. Here, a deep green sofa sits beneath a hanging painting. The look is completed by decorative mouldings and symmetrically placed wall sconces, adding to the elegance of the space.

Lighting
In this project, the lighting has been uniquely designed. Both the bedroom and the living room are free from overhead lighting. Instead, standing lamps and wall sconces have been used. This creates a more pleasant atmosphere in the two spaces primarily intended for relaxation and leisure, allowing the lighting to be adjusted to suit different activities and moods.
A classic interior also means a classic style of furniture and its arrangement. Next to the sofa, you'll find an armchair and a side table, complementing the traditional layout.
Bedroom
The bedroom serves as a tranquil oasis, where classic decorative elements, such as an upholstered bed and wooden dressers, blend with modern touches to create a cosy and luxurious space. A key decorative feature in the bedroom is the wallpaper, elegantly framed between the mouldings, adding to the sophisticated atmosphere.
Since the flat's owner is allergic, we didn’t suggest any rugs. However, with such beautiful flooring, they aren’t needed at all.
The bathroom, featuring marble finishes and elegant fixtures, creates an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort.
The marble tiles are complemented by a dark brown cabinet with a gold base, adding a touch of sophistication and luxury to the design.
Undoubtedly, natural light streaming through the window plays an important role in the bathroom. Additionally, we incorporated LED strips around the bathtub area to highlight this space and give it character, both during the day and at night.
